Its Official, I cut my hair......Lessons I've learnt from this

loving my new look....

Well truth be told, this look is actually three months old. Yeah! Yeah! I know...I should have shown you guys earlier. The funny thing is that I actually didn’t know how people would respond to me cutting my hair. I knew I wanted to cut my hair but I wasn’t sure how my family and loved ones would take it. I had asked in the past if I should cut my hair and I was told countless times not to try it. Well I did listen to their advice for a while and then I couldn’t take it anymore. I wanted air in my hair. So one nice afternoon I calmly went to the saloon and cut it off.
Was I scared, like hell yeah! But was I relieved after? .. Of cause yes!
Most people were surprise, confused and concern at first

...they were like “Imoh why did you cut your hair"

I would smile and simply say “I was tired of it "

I have learnt one lesson from this my cutting hair experience, people will always have an opinion if you give them the chance. The craziest thing is that you actually don’t need their advice. All you need is what works for you and matters to you.

Every day we live our life doing things so that people won’t say nasty things about us, or just to be in their good book. It’s crazy, am guilty of it and I don’t even know why. I guess it’s the fear of rejection but have you noticed that no matter how much you try, they are people who will still reject you. So come to think of it, why bother? Why even try in the first place.
I say live your life; make sure you living with good and respectable principles but not for anybody but just for yourself.

Now, I have gotten more comments from both my friends, family and even random people about how they love my hair and the best part is that I have not gone to the salon in two months...lol!

Life is easy, challenges will still come but we can make it less stressful. Have a lovely day!!

Remember, live life...love life.
