Hey, Yes You...BE STILL!!

I have come to understand the common but most forgotten rule of Life. It's something that I have always been taught in church, I have grown up to hear it so often that now it's like a ringing noiseless bell. I hear it but I don't hear it. I know it but I don't understand it. I recite it but I have never really meditated on it. well until recently.

what is it?... "know God", what am I referring to? the word of God... "THE BIBLE". Okay so am not a pastor and I don't intend to become one. Believe me that's one profession I don't envy but still it's an area that most of us need so dearly yet neglect. I ain't trying to make you leave your faith but I do know that every faith has a book they live and abide to. In the case of us Christians its the Bible.

Its easy to worry and get anxious about stuff happening around us especially when things don't go as planned. It seems like the best thing to do, but it's not. the bible has so many passages to prove so.

" cast your burden unto the lord" .......

" trust in the lord with all your heart and lean no in your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and he shall direct your path"........

" seek he first the kingdom of God and every other thing shall be added unto you"...

and the list goes on

So I'll stop here before you ladies call me a preacher...lol!,  but sincerely all the word of God is trying to tell you is to stop worrying and start believing, not hoping but believing. Believe that God is in control and then take to your word to equip your heart to handle the situation your going through right now.

Understand that this is just a phase even if it has lasted for more than two years. know that God intentions for you is that you may have a good life and have it abundantly and if that ain't happening then it simply means you have not tapped into the word of God that's declares it openly to you.

Believe me am trying not to sound like a sermon but I know that if people will just trust in the lord and seek his ways before they embark on any journey in their life that all will be well no matter what challenges might be faced on the way to the desired destination.

I understand that life is not a bed of roses but with God all things are possible. The bitter truth is that God is your answer. Not worrying, not working hard aimlessly, not prostitution, not jazz , not cultism... but God.

the sooner you turn back to him and get off your worrying horse the better. I'll stop here but I strongly encourage you to keep moving to know God and His word. You'll experience no sweeter life.

Until next time... live life, love life
